On behalf of Barker Langham, I co-curated one half of the House of European History’s 2019 temporary exhibition Restless Youth!

Across four galleries, the show explored how the experience of being young in Europe has evolved over time, from the 1940s, to the 60s, the 80s, and on into the early 2000s,

As co-curator, I worked with HEH’s team to identify and acquire objects, artworks, archive and media, to tell the stories of the eighties, noughties, and tens. The displays we developed covered an extraordinary range of topics, from the AIDs crisis, to the 2008 global recession, modern environmentalism, migration, the gig economy, the enduring power of Bronski Beat, and much more.

Along the way, I worked with artists, journalists, activists, and curators at a dozen European museums, to explore emerging narratives, source collections, and lay the foundations for loan agreements. In my capacity as a writer, I also produced script for all four parts of the exhibition.
